The HS45 encoder provides an option for dual electrically isolated
outputs. Should one set of outputs sustain electrical damage, a
quick change of the connection enables you to get back up and running
quickly. Alternatively, the dual output can also be utilized to
feed two different controllers from a single encoder. This ensures
speed and/or position synchronization without the cost of an additional
encoder.
